John McBride is an athletic performance coach and former strength and conditioning coach at the University of the Pacific. Born in Connecticut, he moved to California in 1989 and currently resides in Stockton. A Republican candidate for California's 9th Congressional District, McBride's campaign priorities include energy independence, expanding nuclear power, reducing federal regulations on farms, and lowering healthcare costs. He previously ran for the same congressional seat in 2024.
