John Meyer

John Meyer is a practicing attorney and the executive director of the Cottonwood Environmental Law Center, a nonprofit conservation organization. He is the first person in his family to graduate from college, earning a B.A. from the University of Montana in 2003 and a J.D. from Vermont Law School in 2009. He has lived in Bozeman for over fifteen years and serves as the Chair of the Natural Resources, Energy, and Environmental Law section of the State Bar of Montana. In 2018, he ran for Montana's U.S. House seat as a Democrat.
