John Moolenaar is an American politician and former chemist serving as a U.S. representative from Michigan since 2015. He currently represents Michigan's 2nd Congressional District. Moolenaar earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Hope College and a master's in public administration from Harvard. He previously worked at Dow Chemical and served in the Michigan House of Representatives (2003-2008) and the Michigan Senate (2011-2014). He chairs the House Select Committee on the CCP.
