John Morley III

John Morley III is a lifelong resident of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom and a Republican politician who has served in the Vermont Senate representing the Orleans District since his appointment in December 2025. A graduate of Lake Region Union High School and the University of Vermont (B.S., 1993), he works as a first-class lineman and serves as Village Manager and an elected Trustee for the Village of Orleans. He previously served three terms in the Vermont House of Representatives (2005–2011) and has served on the boards of the Vermont Public Power Supply Authority, the Northeast Public Power Association, the Northeastern Vermont Development Association, and the Orleans/Essex VNA and Hospice.
