John "Pat" Kelly previously served as a Commissioner for the Key Peninsula Metropolitan Parks District from 2013 to 2019. He also chaired the 26th Legislative District Democrats from 2016 to 2018. His professional experience includes sales and administration in the material handling industry and working as a first responder for glazing remediation after Hurricane Ike in Houston. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington in 1985. He moved to the Key Peninsula in 2008.
