John R. Miscia is the Chief of Police in the neighboring Madison Borough, a position he has held since 2022. He holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. His career in law enforcement began in 2001, and he has risen through the ranks, serving as a Patrolman, Detective, Sergeant, and Lieutenant before his appointment as Chief. He is a graduate of Northwestern University's School of Police Staff and Command and is a Certified Public Manager through Rutgers University. Miscia currently serves on the Florham Park Board of Education, where his term is set to expire in December 2025. He chairs the Personnel/Policy and Negotiations committees.
