John Zingale

John Zingale is a middle school social studies teacher at iTech Preparatory in Vancouver, Washington, with over a decade of experience. Before his teaching career, he worked in the retail grocery industry for 16 years. He earned a bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University in 2003 and a master's degree from the University of Portland in 2013. Zingale has received numerous teaching awards, including Washington State History Teacher of the Year and the 2026 Regional Teacher of the Year by ESD 112. He has been affiliated with the Clark County Historic Preservation Commission, National History Day, and the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. He previously ran as a Democrat for the Washington House of Representatives in 2022 and 2024.
