Jon D. Van Valkenburg

Jon D. Van Valkenburg has been a district resident for 12 years. He and his wife Jen have two children attending Wellwood Middle School and F-M High School. He graduated from John C. Birdlebough High School in Phoenix, NY, and earned a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Rochester. Currently, he is the executive director at Upstate Orthopedics Ambulatory Surgery Center. He serves on the board of directors for the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association and the New York State Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers (where he previously served as president). He is also involved with the Fayetteville-Manlius Youth Lacrosse Association board, coaches F-M Pop Warner, and is active in the F-M All Sports Booster Club.
