Jon Fay is a retired United States Navy Commander and a 2000 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, where he played football. He served more than 24 years as a Naval Flight Officer, accumulating over 3,200 flight hours and 168 carrier-arrested landings across aircraft including the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet, S-3B Viking, T-1A Jayhawk, and P-3C Orion. His service included supporting Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Sahayogi Haat in Nepal, and Operation Iraqi Freedom, and a posting as a Navy Legislative Fellow to the U.S. House of Representatives during the 115th Congress. His career culminated as Executive Officer of the U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron (the Blue Angels). After retiring in 2024, he became Director of Surplus Solutions for Airline MRO Parts. He is a husband and father of three.
