Jon Hawkins

Jon Hawkins is an incumbent Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives, representing District 55. He initially assumed office in January 2019 for District 57, transitioning to District 55 in 2023. Hawkins holds a BA in communications and an MBA from Brigham Young University, and has a professional background in software sales. Prior to his legislative service, he contributed to his community through roles on the Pleasant Grove Planning Commission, as a Boy Scout leader, and a youth sports coach. As a legislator, he has sponsored various bills, including those related to advanced air mobility, rescue tracking equipment, and economic development. He is currently seeking re-election for District 55 in the 2026 election, having successfully advanced from the Republican convention.
