Jon W. Myers is a lifelong resident of Lexington, North Carolina. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science, a Master of Business Administration, and a Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University. After graduating from law school in 1992, he established a solo law practice in Lexington. For five years, he served as the attorney for the Guardian ad Litem program for Davidson and Davie Counties. In May 2021, Governor Roy Cooper appointed him to serve as a District Court Judge in what was then Judicial District 22B (now District 33). He also served on the Davidson County Board of Elections from 2007 until his judicial appointment in 2021.
