Jon Albert is the Republican State Representative for Florida House District 48, first elected in 2024. A Frostproof native and business owner, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps for nine years and ten months and earned a bachelor's degree in history and political studies (2008) and an MBA (2014) from Chaminade University of Honolulu. Before the Legislature, he served on the Frostproof City Council (2016–2024) and as Mayor of Frostproof (2020–2024).
