Jonathan L. Jacobs is a medical doctor and Professor Emeritus of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from Yale University. During the AIDS epidemic, Dr. Jacobs founded and served as Executive Director of the Center for Special Studies at New York Hospital, providing integrated multidisciplinary care to people with HIV. Born and raised on Long Island, he is running as a Democrat to represent New York's 1st Congressional District.
