His legislative focus includes advocating for tribal initiatives, Indian education, language preservation, and community health. He is on the ballot for the 2026 Democratic primary for Montana's Eastern Congressional District U.S. House seat. His campaign previously faced a temporary suspension due to sexual abuse allegations, which he dismissed as a political ambush, before restarting.
