Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and raised in the Villa Esperanza public housing community of Río Piedras, Jorge H. Figueroa earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin–Parkside, followed by an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix. In 2017 he founded Omicron Business Group (JF Media LLC), a marketing agency for small businesses, later expanding into OBG Center, a business hub for small and medium-sized enterprises. He served as President of the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida, strengthening the region's small business ecosystem and supporting minority entrepreneurs; he also served on the Osceola County Housing Finance Authority and the American Business Immigration Coalition's Business Advisory Board. Grounded in his Christian faith, Figueroa lives in Kissimmee with his wife and two daughters and ran for the Florida House to address the affordability crisis, reform property insurance, and expand economic mobility.
