Jose Luis Vidal, known as Lou, is an incumbent Councilman for Edgewater, New Jersey, with his current term expiring at the end of 2026. He also serves as the Council Liaison to Finance, Tax, and Insurance. Previously, Vidal was a councilmember for Palisades Park, where he served two terms as council president. He is a member of the Association of Financial Professionals and holds an undergraduate degree in business from Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he is currently pursuing graduate studies. His professional experience includes banking, international trade, and real estate development and planning. Vidal is committed to finding innovative solutions for Edgewater and is running as a Democratic candidate in the upcoming June primary.
