José "Dante" Sánchez-Sánchez is a Democratic candidate for the Florida House of Representatives, District 64. After immigrating from the Dominican Republic in 2005, he became Hillsborough County's first Hispanic electrical inspector in 2014. He subsequently founded Trypower Electrical Services Inc. He also served as a reservist with the U.S. Air Force's 927th Security Forces Squadron from 2016 to 2026, deploying to the Middle East, and received the Air Force Achievement Medal in 2020.
