Joseph Ghodsee is a U.S. Air Force veteran who has worked in various trade jobs, including as a millwright, machinist, and welder. He earned associate degrees in criminal justice and political science from North Idaho College in 2024 and is currently studying supply chain management at Gonzaga University. He has been appointed to the Spokane Valley City Council's Homeless Housing Task Force. Ghodsee is married with one daughter.
