Representative Joseph D. Morelle is the incumbent U.S. Representative for New York's 25th Congressional District, first elected in 2018. A lifelong resident of Upstate New York, he previously served in the New York State Assembly from 1991 to 2018, where he was the Majority Leader from 2013 to 2018. Prior to his state service, Morelle served as a Monroe County legislator and worked in business. He earned his bachelor's degree in political science from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
