Joseph T. Emerson

Joseph Emerson established deep roots in Carlstadt, New Jersey, after relocating there with his family in 1994. A dedicated community figure, he actively participated in Carlstadt's recreation programs, serving as a coach, Board of Directors member, and ultimately as President. Under his leadership, local recreation facilities saw significant upgrades and teams achieved notable success. His commitment to public service led to his selection in January 2013 to complete a Council term. Through his extensive involvement as a coach, councilman, and engaged resident, Emerson has consistently demonstrated his dedication to Carlstadt's betterment, embodying the spirit of a community core.
