Joseph Tolbert III is a Democratic candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates in Legislative District 25. A native of Washington, D.C. and Prince George's County, Tolbert was incarcerated at age 17 and spent over a decade in prison. After his release, he graduated from DC Central Kitchen's Culinary Job Training Program and built a nearly ten-year career in the hospitality industry, advancing into a management position. Drawing on his experiences, Tolbert co-founded Life360, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families who have been impacted by incarceration. His campaign platform focuses on strengthening schools, supporting working families, and improving public safety.
