Josh Cantrell is an incumbent State Representative for Oklahoma's 49th District, first assuming office in November 2022. A lifelong resident of Kingston, he holds degrees from Murray State College and East Central University. Prior to his current role, Cantrell served as Marshall County Commissioner, District 2. He is married to Tanya and they have two sons. In the House, he serves as Majority Caucus Secretary and Assistant Majority Whip, and holds leadership positions on Health and Human Services Oversight committees. His policy stances include pro-life advocacy, supporting economic development, protecting Second Amendment rights, improving infrastructure, and defending state rights against federal overreach. He is seeking re-election in 2026.
