Josh Garza was born in Toppenish, Washington. His grandparents immigrated from Nuevo Leon, Mexico, in the late 1940s and early 1950s. His parents instilled in him the importance of education, self-sufficiency, and financial responsibility, which inspired him to become an entrepreneur and work in roles where he could assist students. He currently serves as a Councilmember for the City of Toppenish and is also the Regional Program Manager for Central Washington for Junior Achievement of Washington.
