Josh Roy

Josh Roy is a Republican candidate campaigning for U.S. Senate in Idaho in 2026, running in the May 19 primary. An engineer with 21 years of experience in heavy industry, he currently works as an operations assistant superintendent. Roy graduated summa cum laude with a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Idaho and later earned an MBA from Washington State University. He is a husband to Jessica, a registered nurse, and a father of four, residing in Lewiston, Idaho. Campaigning as a non-career politician, he emphasizes a fresh start free of political baggage, promising integrity and grit. A lifelong fiscally and socially conservative Republican, Roy advocates for restoring the American economy by combating federal bureaucracy, protecting family values, and addressing issues such as Critical Race Theory in schools. He also believes in traditional marriage and opposes abortion.
