Living and working on her family’s 350-acre cattle farm, she understands the challenges facing rural communities. Powers is running for Congress as a Real Rural Democrat, committed to giving rural Virginia a true voice in Washington. Her platform, the H.O.M.E. Plan, focuses on Healthcare, Opportunity, Market Affordability, and Education for working families. She advocates for expanding rural healthcare, strengthening public education, protecting farmland, and lowering energy costs, believing leadership should listen and fight for people, not special interests or corporations.
