Juan "Jerry" Garcia was born and raised in Othello and is an alumnus of Othello High School. He participated in the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program, a college and career readiness system, during his time as a student. His experience working in corrections has given him insight into how policies function in daily operations. Garcia aims to give back to the community that shaped him.
