Judd Lawler

Judd Lawler, born in Iowa in 1971 or 1972, is an American politician and lawyer. He earned a bachelor's degree from Yale University in 1995 and a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1998. His career experience includes working as an assistant U.S. Attorney and legal writing coach. Lawler, a Republican, currently represents Iowa House District 91, having assumed office in January 2025. He is married to Ericka Lawler and they have two children. As an incumbent, he is seeking re-election in 2026. Lawler's legislative record suggests support for conservative principles, including constitutional supermajority requirements for tax changes, border security, protections for medical practitioners' conscience, and restrictions on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in state entities.
