Dr. Juliann Althoff is a public health and preventive medicine physician who retired from the U.S. Navy as a Captain in March 2025 after nearly 30 years of service. A graduate of the Boonshoft School of Medicine, her career included roles as a flight surgeon for the Presidential Helicopter Squadron (HMX-1) and a deployment on the USS Nimitz. Her final position was as Commanding Officer of the Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command in Oak Harbor, Washington. In 2024, she received the Military Health System Award for the Advancement of Women Physicians in Military Medicine.
