CivorenJulie L. DeRose is a Republican candidate running for the Michigan State Senate to represent District 28 in the 2026 election. A resident of DeWitt for over 25 years, DeRose is a licensed insurance agent, realtor, and small business owner. She has previous experience working in housing education with the Lansing Housing Coalition and helping to develop trades training for incarcerated individuals with the Michigan Department of Corrections. She previously ran for Michigan House District 77 in 2024.
