Julien Segura is a political organizer and a first-generation American of Lebanese-Armenian and Spanish-Algerian descent who grew up in Sugar Hill, Harlem. He has worked as a political strategist and is the co-founder and political director of the New Leaf Democratic Club. He is also a member of the Manhattan Young Democrats and the Manhattan Working Families Party. Segura previously ran for the same office in the 2024 Democratic primary and lost to incumbent Al Taylor.
