Justin B. Greene is a District Court Judge for North Carolina's 43rd Judicial District. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Roy Cooper in November 2023 to fill a vacancy. A native of Swain County, Greene has practiced law in Bryson City since 2006, primarily focusing on family law. His experience includes serving as the attorney for the Swain County and Graham County Departments of Social Services (DSS) and working with the Guardian ad Litem program. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002 and his Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2006. Greene previously ran for a district court seat in 2010 and 2020.
