Justin Evans was appointed to the East Pierce Board of Commissioners for Position 3 in May 2024, succeeding longtime Commissioner Mike Cathey. Prior to his appointment, he served for eight years on the Bonney Lake City Council, including a period as Deputy Mayor. His public service began as a Volunteer Firefighter and EMT, where he served for five years. He is a father to a daughter in the local school district where his wife also works.
