Justin Moed was first elected to the Indiana House of Representatives in 2012, representing District 97. He serves as the Democratic Whip and is the ranking minority member of the Public Policy Committee. Before holding office, Moed worked at the Statehouse as a doorkeeper and a senior policy analyst. He earned a bachelor's degree from Butler University. Moed resides on the south side of Indianapolis, where he is involved with the local community and owns and manages an urban farm.
