A 2018 graduate of Linganore High School, he is actively involved in the community, serving as the Chairman of the Frederick County Young Republicans. In addition to his political involvement, Burhans holds the position of Environmental Chair for the Rotary Club of New Market. His public record includes a conviction for driving under the influence in October 2025. Burhans' campaign focuses on bringing a new generation of leadership to Frederick County.
