Karen D. Moore

Karen D. Moore was appointed to the Snohomish County Superior Court by Governor Jay Inslee in 2021. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Idaho in 1986 and her J.D. from the University of Puget Sound (now Seattle University) in 1991. Her legal career began as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Idaho Falls before she joined the Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney's office, where she worked in the Family Support, Appellate, and Criminal Divisions. In 2001, she entered civil practice at the law firm Brewe Layman, where she handled family, personal injury, and appellate law until her judicial appointment.
