Karen I Mathiak

Karen Mathiak is an incumbent Georgia State Representative for District 82, a chiropractor by profession, sworn into office on January 9, 2017. She serves as Chairman of the State Planning & Community Affairs Committee, Vice-Chairman of an Appropriations Subcommittee, and Secretary of the Health Committee. Her policy priorities include ensuring law enforcement has the necessary tools for community safety, protecting Second Amendment rights, and promoting fiscal responsibility, having notably passed the first income tax reduction in Georgia since 1934.
