Karen Karls

Karen Karls is an experienced Republican politician who has served as a State Representative for North Dakota's 35th District since 2006. A graduate of Minot State University with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, she is dedicated to ensuring North Dakotans have access to necessary healthcare, especially in the face of high costs. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the House Judiciary Committee and is a member of Government and Veterans Affairs. Karls has a long history of party leadership, having chaired the District 35 Republicans for 28 years and currently chairing NDGOP District 35. She also contributes to the ND Council on Education Opportunity for Military Children and previously worked as a wedding cake decorator.
