Karen Mccormick

Karen McCormick is an incumbent Democratic Representative for House District 11 in the Colorado General Assembly, representing Boulder County. A veterinarian by profession, she earned her education from the University of Florida. She actively participates in legislative committees, chairing the Agriculture, Water & Natural Resources Committee, the Water Resources and Agriculture Review Committee, and the Ethics Committee, while also serving on the Appropriations and Health & Human Services committees. For the 2026 Regular Session, her legislative focus includes sponsoring bills aimed at enhancing reimbursement for nursing facilities that serve residents with behavioral health needs, as well as measures to support species conservation. Her campaign committee, KAREN FOR CO, is dedicated to her re-election to House District 11.
