Karen Toles

Karen Toles is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates for Legislative District 25. Initially appointed to the position in January 2022, she was later elected to a full term. Prior to her service in the state legislature, Toles represented District 7 on the Prince George's County Council from 2010 to 2018. Her extensive professional experience includes serving as a legislative and political coordinator for AFSCME and as a regional field coordinator for the Democratic National Committee. She was also the president of Paramount Policy Partners, a policy consulting firm. Toles earned a bachelor's degree in public health from the University of Maryland and a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
