Kari Armbruster

Kari Armbruster is a graduate of Xavier University and a mother of three students in the Cincinnati Public Schools (CPS) district. She has been a CPS parent for six years, actively volunteering in various capacities, including tutoring, coaching, and chairing the Local School Decision Making Committee. Professionally, Armbruster worked at Kroger for nearly a decade, where she was instrumental in launching the company's Zero Hunger | Zero Waste initiative, a program aimed at reducing food waste and increasing food donations. Her work in corporate sustainability has been recognized with awards such as Waste360's '40 Under 40'. She now runs her own consultancy, Armbruster Impact Management.
