Karl de Jong is the President of the Northwest Washington Labor Council and the Vice President of the Washington State Labor Council. He previously served on the Sedro-Woolley City Council from 2018 to 2022. De Jong is an active community volunteer, involved with the local senior center, schools, and park clean-up events. He volunteers as a story reader at Mary Purcell Elementary and teaches money management through the Junior Achievement program.
