Kathryn Lamka is a candidate for Chimacum School District No. 49, Director District 5 General Election in 2025 in Chimacum, Washington. Running as Nonpartisan.

Kathryn Lamka grew up in Michigan and earned a Bachelor of Arts in German Education and a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from Michigan State University. She taught German for ten years before working for IBM as a Systems Engineer. Lamka and her husband moved to Port Ludlow from Seattle in 2004. Before joining the school board, she was an active volunteer, serving on the board of the Jefferson Land Trust for eight years, as president of her local water district board, and as president of the Jefferson Solar Group. For nine years, she has also volunteered as a tutor at Chimacum Elementary School and is a member of the district's Wellness Committee. She was appointed to the Director District 5 seat in September 2020 to fill a vacancy.
