Kathy Dawes

Kathy Dawes, a retired 8th-grade science teacher and long-time Latah County resident, is a Democratic candidate for Idaho House District 6B. She aims to foster unity, bring Idahoans together, and find common ground in the legislature, building on her 50 years in the community. Dawes has a strong background in education and community involvement, having founded several local organizations and served on the Latah County Parks Board for 13 years. She advocates for freedom, voting rights, public education funding, and access to affordable healthcare, including reproductive rights.
