Kathy Pittis has had a 21-year career at the Port of Anacortes, holding various leadership positions including Director of Marina & Airport, Director of Marketing & Public Relations, and Director of Real Estate & Community Development. She was first elected as a Port Commissioner in 2017, beginning her term in January 2018. Pittis also served on the Anacortes School Board from 2001 to 2005. In 2021, she was elected to serve as the President of the Washington Public Ports Association (WPPA) and has served on their Executive Committee. She is also involved in various community organizations, including the Northwest Career & Technical Academy General Advisory Committee.
