Katie Favela is a licensed clinical social worker and has been a resident of Ridgefield for over a decade. On April 11, 2024, she was unanimously appointed by the City Council to fill a mid-term vacancy for Position 5. Prior to her appointment, she was a member of the Ridgefield Planning Commission and also works with the Ridgefield School District as a mental health professional. Favela and her husband have two children.
