Katharine Elizabeth Young Yaroslavsky is an American attorney and politician serving as a member of the Los Angeles City Council representing District 5 since December 2022. Prior to her election, Yaroslavsky worked as a deputy for Los Angeles County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl, where she helped establish the Office of Sustainability. She holds a bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley and a JD from the UCLA School of Law. She is running for re-election to the City Council in 2026.
