Keenon James

Keenon James is a Democratic candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates in Legislative District 23. A Prince George's County native, he has dedicated his career to public service with a focus on public safety and criminal justice reform. He currently serves as a senior director at Everytown for Gun Safety, a cause deeply personal to him as his brother was a victim of gun violence. His extensive experience includes work with organizations like the Pew Charitable Trusts, the U.S. Department of Justice's COPS Office, and the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives. James formerly served as vice chairman of the Prince George's County Police Accountability Board and represents the 23rd district on the Democratic Central Committee.
