Keith Chaplin is a general contractor and owner of a construction firm. He previously served on the Burlington City Council from 2020 to 2025, including a term as Mayor Pro-Tem in 2024. During his time on the council, he served on various committees, including public safety, finance, public works, and land use. Prior to his work in construction and city government, Chaplin was a news reporter in Washington and Alaska. He graduated from Mount Vernon High School and earned a Bachelor's degree from Washington State University in 2009.
