Mykale "Kelly" Garrett is a candidate for the Michigan House of Representatives for District 18. She currently serves on the Lathrup Village City Council as Mayor Pro Tem, having previously served as the city's Mayor from 2015 to 2023. Garrett earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Rochester College and a master's degree in information systems from the University of Phoenix. She also serves as Vice Chair of the Oakland County Democratic Party.
