Kelly Jiang was appointed to the Issaquah City Council in February 2025. She grew up in nearby Sammamish and moved to Issaquah in 2020. She is the Board President of the Issaquah Alps Trails Club and serves on the boards of the Mountains to Sound Greenway and Leafline Trails Coalition. Professionally, she works with housing owners and lenders to make homes more energy-efficient and affordable. She holds a B.S. in environmental engineering science from UC Berkeley.
